About Hey ArtMama

Conveniently located in Gulf Breeze, FL, Hey, ArtMama's mission is to help everyone explore possibilities, encourage curiosity, promote self-discovery, advance creative thinking skills, and nurture the creative spirit. Here, I offer something for everyone, including after school art education for elementary, middle, and high school students and adult and private classes. I also host custom birthday parties, ladies' get-togethers, and monthly crochet workshops.

I received my BFA and MFA from The Savannah College of Art & Design, and for 20 years, I taught thousands of students for Santa Rosa County and was Teacher of the Year in 2011. I'm a certified Art Educator with the Florida Department of Education and have been an adjunct professor, teaching Graphic Design and Portfolio Prep at Pensacola State College. I have received many ribbons and Addy awards for my own personal work, and I have already illustrated 7 children's books. Contact Hey ArtMama today to learn more about my art classes!

I started this business a year ago, in January 2023, and had a former student set up my page. She originally wanted to partner with me, but after a month, she moved away, and I never heard from her again. I didn’t get to see how she set it all up, so I really don’t know how everything was done. I figured out how to design the site, and I created lesson services and booking, but it has not been easy for my customers to navigate due to my lack of knowledge of websites. I have the booking services changes on the site now (they’re different from last year), but I’m unsure if they work on the back end.
